Lightweight design
The DJI Dock 2 is 75% smaller and 68% lighter than its predecessor and can be easily transported by just two people, allowing for flexible installation and reducing installation costs.

Efficient site assessment
Before deployment, the aircraft can recognise the environment using image sensors and quickly determine whether the area has strong GNSS signals. This new image processing-based assessment significantly speeds up site selection and reduces the time required from five hours to twelve minutes or less.

IP55 dustproof and waterproof
The DJI Dock 2 has been designed with protection in mind. The Dock 2 is IP55 dustproof and waterproof and can operate reliably in harsh environments for extended periods of time.

Integrated environmental monitoring system
DJI Dock 2 integrates multiple sensors, including precipitation, wind speed and temperature gauges, to detect weather changes in real time. In conjunction with the online weather forecast, it can issue timely warnings or terminate flight tasks with DJI FlightHub 2 to effectively reduce flight risk.

Improved landing stability
With next-generation image recognition technology, the aircraft recognises precise position markers on the landing site. In addition, the new centring of the landing site by a glide ramp facilitates precise landing.

Built-in backup battery
In the event of an unexpected power failure, the DJI Dock 2 can continue to operate independently for more than five hours with the built-in backup battery, leaving enough time for the aircraft to return and land.

Six-month maintenance interval
Thanks to its high level of protection and reliability, the DJI Dock 2 only requires maintenance approximately every six months, effectively controlling labour costs.

Notifications in case of abnormal conditions
If DJI Dock 2 and the aircraft are experiencing malfunctions or emergencies, DJI FlightHub 2 will immediately send email notifications. This allows operators to accurately track and resolve issues based on the information provided.

Powerful flight models
The all-new DJI Matrice 3D/3TD is designed specifically for the DJI Dock 2. The Matrice 3D is equipped with both a telephoto camera and a wide-angle camera with mechanical shutter and fulfils the requirements for high-precision mapping tasks at a scale of 1:500. The Matrice 3TD, which is equipped with a wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera and an infrared camera, can image both visible light and thermal images and is therefore suitable for security and inspection tasks.

The DJI Dock 2 features two RTK antennas, allowing the aircraft to obtain accurate RTH position data without waiting for RTK data to converge. It also performs a full propeller inspection and take-off in just 45 seconds, making it ready for use quickly.

Fast charging
The DJI Dock 2 charges the aircraft from 20% to 90% in just 32 minutes, ensuring efficient power supply for successive missions.

Dual camera monitoring
DJI Dock 2 is equipped with an internal and an external fisheye camera for real-time viewing. Close monitoring inside and outside the dock allows the operator to remotely observe weather conditions, environmental conditions and aircraft take-off and landing.

Cloud-based operation, maximum control

Cloud mapping
After the aircraft has completed its flight task, DJI FlightHub 2 uses the collected flight data to create highly accurate 3D models that authentically recreate the operating environment. These models can be annotated, measured and downloaded.

Flight route editor
Using the high-precision 3D models, operators can edit the flight route from a first-person perspective and preview the simulated image results. This facilitates intuitive and efficient operation and improves flight route planning and accuracy.

AI spot check
When you frame a specific area in the 3D model, the aircraft automatically compares the area to be captured with the framed area in subsequent automated operations. This actively adjusts the camera angle to ensure accurate capture of the same area over multiple flights.

FlyTo tasks
The DJI FlightHub 2's FlyTo tasks utilise highly accurate 3D models to automatically plan the optimal flight path. Before an urgent task, the operator simply clicks on the subject and the aircraft flies an efficient and safe route to the destination.

Live flight controls
Based on DJI FlightHub 2 or a third-party cloud platform, even when DJI Dock 2 is used in a remote region, the operator can control the flight and gimbal angle via keyboard and mouse.

Obstacle avoidance
When performing automatic flight tasks, the aircraft utilises omnidirectional obstacle detection and automatic obstacle avoidance to increase the success rate of flight tasks.

Open ecosystem, extensive capabilities

Payloads from third-party providers
For even more functionality, you can connect third-party payloads, such as speakers and spotlights, via the aircraft's E-Port and control the additional payload remotely via the DJI FlightHub addition, the aircraft's E-Port Lite supports the connection of a parachute for increased flight and personal safety.

Edge Computing
DJI Dock 2 features an edge computing expansion interface that enables pre-processing of media files and more to further improve operational efficiency.

Private deployment with Cloud API
