Detect road courses, road markings and manhole covers semi-automatically
Vectorisation into lines and polygons works automatically. You simply extract road markings, road courses and manhole covers. Manual rework is still required in practice, but to a much lesser extent. PIX4D is continuously working on the detection solutions and regularly releases updates.
Point cloud to DTM in 2 clicks
The software reliably creates digital terrain models. All you have to do is press a button and the classified point cloud is available in just a few minutes. Then simply create a TIN and export it as LandXML (.xml), e.g. in AutoCAD Civil. If you want to optimise it manually, you can do so at any time.
Automatically detect break edges from DTM
The programme recognises abrupt changes in height and can therefore automatically detect break edges. You simply export the edges as a vector layer
Point cloud analysis from photogrammetry and laser scanners
PIX4Dsurvey was developed for processing and analysing point clouds. The origin of the point cloud is irrelevant, i.e. the data can originate from drones/photogrammetry as well as LiDAR scanners.
