The BL-CH4 400 is a lightweight, highly sensitive gas sensor based on TDLAS technology (tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy). It enables rapid methane detection from a distance of up to 300 metres or at concentrations as low as 5 ppm·m. A detection laser is combined with a precisely calibrated visible-light sensor to enable accurate visual inspection. Combined with intelligent gimbal stabilisation technology, the device quickly provides users with critical information – enabling faster action and significantly improved situational awareness and operational efficiency.
