With the wide-angle camera, the DJI Matrice 4D supports single shots and interval shots at 20 MP, as well as JPEG and DNG RAW.
Can you carry out inspections from a greater distance with the DJI Matrice 4D?
Yes. The telephoto cameras enable detailed visual inspections without requiring the drone to fly directly up to the object.
This is particularly relevant for facades, roofs, industrial facilities, and infrastructure when both a safe distance and detailed imagery are important.
Cracks, component edges, labels, or hard-to-access areas can be documented from the air and evaluated for technical reports or condition assessments.
What is the function of the DJI Matrice 4D's laser rangefinder?
The integrated laser rangefinder supports applications in which target points are not only captured visually but also positioned spatially.
During inspections of buildings, utility corridors, or technical facilities, the distance to relevant areas can be incorporated directly into the workflow.
The measurement range is 1800 m at 1 Hz for a target with 20 % reflectivity. With oblique incidence at a ratio of 1:5, the range is 600 m at 1 Hz. The blind zone is 1 m.
Is the DJI Matrice 4D designed for demanding outdoor operations?
Yes. The DJI Matrice 4D is protected against water and dust and is designed for demanding operating environments in commercial outdoor operations.
The protection rating is IP55. The operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to 50 °C.
The maximum flight time is 54 minutes, and the maximum hovering time is 47 minutes. The maximum wind resistance during operation and during take-off and landing is 12 m/s.
What is included in the RC Plus 2 Enterprise Combo, and is a battery included?
The RC Plus 2 Enterprise Combo is intended for standalone operation with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller and can be operated without DJI Dock 3.
The Scope of delivery includes, among other things, the Matrice 4D without battery, the RC Plus 2 Enterprise, a 240-W USB-C power adapter, a charging hub for the Matrice 4D series, a microSD card, a gimbal protector, three pairs of propellers, data cables, a transport case, and DJI FTS.
A flight battery is not included in this version and must be planned separately for operational use.
