Dual Gimbal Connector for DJI M300/M350 RTK
The DJI M300/M350 Dual Gimbal Connector allows two payloads to be mounted simultaneously on the underside of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK. This allows, for example, two different camera systems to be used on a single flight, saving flight time and resources during inspections, search and rescue operations, and other complex tasks requiring multiple sensors at the same time.
Independent control of both payloads
Each of the two gimbal ports is connected to the drone separately via USB-C and controlled independently. This enables advanced functions via the Payload SDK (PSDK) and the Onboard SDK (OSDK). In combination with the top-mounted gimbal connector, up to three payloads can be operated simultaneously.
Compatible payloads
Supported payloads include the DJI Zenmuse H20, H20T, XT2 and Z30, as well as officially approved third-party payloads based on the DJI PSDK. The Zenmuse XT2 can only be mounted on the first gimbal port. Each gimbal damper supports a payload of up to 960 g; the drone's maximum overall payload capacity must not be exceeded.
Robust and weather-resistant
The dual gimbal assembly achieves an IP44 protection rating, provided that the mounted payloads are also protected accordingly. Its robust construction is designed for a long service life.
Installation
To install the unit, remove the standard lower gimbal connector by disconnecting the gimbal cable and loosening the four mounting screws. Then install the dual gimbal connector using eight screws. Before carrying out the conversion, switch off the drone and remove the battery.
