Can you quickly charge DJI drone batteries with the DJI Power 500?
Yes. Selected DJI drone batteries can be quickly charged using separately available charging cables and the DJI Power SDC charging function.
The specified charging times from 10% to 95% battery level are:
- Mavic 3 Series Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 32 minutes
- DJI Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 30 minutes
- Inspire 3 TB51 Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 28 minutes
- M30 TB30 Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 32 minutes
What capacity and output power does the DJI Power 500 offer?
The DJI Power 500 is a compact, portable power station with a battery capacity of 512 Wh.
It delivers a maximum output power of 1000 W and can therefore supply power to common household appliances.
How quickly can the DJI Power 500 be charged?
When connected to mains power, the DJI Power 500 can be fully charged in 70 minutes.
It charges to 80% battery level via mains power in 50 minutes. It supports a 540 W fast charging mode and a 270 W standard charging mode.
It can be charged via the two USB-C ports with a total of 200 W and is fully charged in approximately three hours.
What safety and operating functions does the DJI Power 500 have?
The DJI Power 500 features a safety concept covering everything from the housing structure and cell chemistry to the system software.
It has passed 26 product tests conducted by SGS Switzerland. These include mechanical performance tests, electrical performance tests, environmental resistance tests, noise level tests, as well as tests for intelligent and efficient DC power supply and charging.
The LFP cell can achieve up to 3000 cycles, corresponding to a service life of around 10 years with frequent use.
11 temperature sensors monitor heat dissipation, and the power station operates normally even at temperatures of up to 40 °C.
In the event of a power failure, the DJI Power 500 can continue supplying power to connected devices within 0.02 seconds in UPS mode.
