Where can EU drone pilot licences be obtained?

The small EU drone licence (EU certificate of competence A1/A3) is offered centrally via the Federal Aviation Office as an online test.

The large EU drone licence (EU remote pilot certificate A2) is taken via a theory test at recognised test centres. Many of these test centres offer preparation courses combined with practical training. Click here to go directly to our training courses.

Both EU drone licences are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Further regulations for refreshing or extending the certificates have not yet been published. As a recognised testing centre of the aviation authority, we will probably be the first to learn about the regulations and will then be able to help you.
