What camera and recording features does the DJI Flip offer?

The DJI Flip has a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and can take photos with up to 48 MP.

For video recording, it supports 4K at up to 60 fps, Full HD at up to 100 fps, and vertical 2.7K recording. MP4 is specified as the video format.

JPEG and DNG/RAW are supported for image recording. The available colour modes are Normal and D-Log M.

How long can the DJI Flip fly and how is it charged?

The maximum flight time of the DJI Flip is 31 minutes. The maximum hovering time is 28 minutes.

The Fly More Combo includes three Intelligent Flight Batteries. The Parallel Charging Station is compatible with the DJI Flip Intelligent Flight Battery and can charge two batteries simultaneously or sequentially.

The charging time when charging via the aircraft is specified as approx. 70 minutes from 0% to 100%. With the Battery Charging Hub, charging one battery takes approx. 45 minutes; charging two batteries from 0% to 100% takes approx. 70 minutes.

What safety and detection systems does the DJI Flip have?

The DJI Flip is equipped with a foldable all-around propeller guard.

For detection, it uses forward-facing 3D infrared sensors. A vision sensor and an infrared sensor are installed on the underside.

Automatic braking is supported in Normal mode, Cine mode and when using the Return function. Intelligent features, including subject tracking, do not support obstacle avoidance.

Which control methods does the DJI Flip support?

The DJI Flip supports palm control, control via mobile app, voice control and remote controller control.

When controlling the aircraft via the mobile app, the virtual joysticks are intended only for fine-tuning the position during recording or for return control. With mobile app control, the drone is limited to a maximum altitude of 30 m and a distance of 50 m.

The Fly More Combo includes the DJI RC 2 remote controller.

Which flight and operating data are specified for the DJI Flip?

The DJI Flip has a take-off weight of less than 249 g. Its dimensions are 136 × 62 × 165 mm when folded and 233 × 280 × 79 mm when unfolded.

The maximum flight distance is 14 km. The maximum take-off altitude is specified as 3000 m.

The maximum wind resistance is 10.7 m/s, equivalent to wind force 5. The operating temperature range is -10 °C to 40 °C.

What video transmission does the DJI Flip offer?
