DJI Matrice 4D Battery

The DJI Matrice 4D battery is the flight battery for the DJI Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD, which can be used both in automated operation with the DJI Dock 3 and as standalone drones. With a capacity of 6768 mAh and an energy rating of 149,9 Wh, the battery enables flight times of up to 54 minutes in forward flight or up to 47 minutes in hover. This makes it ideal for inspections, surveying and mapping, as well as operations by public authorities and organisations with security responsibilities.

Intelligent battery management

The Li-ion 6S battery is based on the LiNiMnCoO2 cell system and provides a stable power supply at a nominal voltage of 22,14 V. The integrated battery management system monitors the battery status and protects against overheating, overvoltage, and short circuits. The battery is designed for up to 400 charging cycles.

Fast charging with self-heating

With a maximum charging power of 240 W, the DJI Matrice 4D battery is quickly ready for use again. A self-heating function enables charging even at low temperatures; the permitted charging temperature range is 5 to 45 °C. The battery can be charged in the DJI Dock 3 or with the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Battery Charging Station; using the DJI 240W Power Adapter, charging from 15 to 90 % takes approximately 30 minutes. Charging in the aircraft is not supported.
