Dronavia Kronos M4 Parachute Recovery System for DJI Matrice 4 E/T — PRS + FTS with Installation
The Dronavia Kronos M4 is a parachute recovery system with an integrated Flight Termination System (FTS) for the DJI Matrice 4 E and Matrice 4 T. The system combines an autonomous Parachute Recovery System (PRS) with an internally installed FTS, protecting both the drone and third parties in the event of an uncontrolled crash. Payload and RTK functionality remain fully available.
Scope of delivery and technical features
The PRS automatically detects critical flight situations — including sudden altitude loss, collisions or abrupt changes in angle — and deploys the parachute in less than 0.27 seconds. By comparison, typical human reaction time is around 3 seconds. Below 20 metres, the system locks automatically to prevent false deployments close to the ground.

Dronavia provides video installation tutorials as well as a user and operating manual. The FTS is installed internally in the drone and makes it possible to interrupt the power supply if the drone threatens to leave a prescribed flight area.
Important: Before any DJI Care service, maintenance service or repair, the system must first be uninstalled by Dronavia. The drone must be sent in for this purpose.

The Flight Termination System (FTS), however, requires the drone to be opened and is installed by qualified personnel — the drone must be sent in for this purpose.
