How can I reliably identify fawns in a thermal image?
Fawns stand out clearly from their cooler surroundings due to their body heat, especially early in the morning. The thermal imaging camera shows them as bright spots in the image. You can control the image directly on the remote control display. The high resolution and temperature contrast make it easy to distinguish them from other objects.
How many hectares can I scan with one battery pack?
One battery pack is usually sufficient for approx. 15–20 hectares, depending on the terrain, search height, and outside temperature. The replacement batteries included allow you to fly over several areas in succession without long charging breaks.
Is insurance included or required?
Drone liability insurance is required by law and is not included in the package. We recommend commercial aviation liability insurance that specifically covers fawn rescue. We are happy to advise you if necessary.
Can I also use the drone for other tasks?
Yes, absolutely. The drone is also suitable for wildlife counting, territory observation, inspections, or simple aerial photography. The built-in technology is flexible, making the package usable not only for the season, but all year round.
