Frequently asked questions

Who is the package intended for?

The package is intended for businesses that regularly need to survey buildings, roofs or smaller areas of up to 2000 m².

These include solar installers, roofers, energy consultants, trades businesses, carpenters and timber construction companies, sheet-metal workers, scaffolding companies, facility management providers, as well as forestry and agricultural businesses.

How does digital surveying with the Airclip Cloud work?

You capture the drone images and then upload the data to the Airclip Cloud. This video explains how to fly the drone: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElxHTx_om58&t=1s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Watch video</a>

The Airclip Cloud creates a dimensionally accurate 3D model from the data. You can continue working in the Airclip Viewer without installing any software or using additional software. Alternatively, you can export the 3D model directly to your planning tool.

In the model, you can measure areas, roof pitch and orientation and use the data for planning, costing and documentation.

How quickly will I receive the 3D model, and how accurate is it?

The cloud-based processing delivers the dimensionally accurate 3D model in a very short time.

Relative accuracy is approximately 5 cm. A practical accuracy of 4 to 8 cm is also specified, depending on the project conditions.

The maximum ground area is 2,000 m².

Do I need surveying expertise or additional software?

No special surveying expertise is required. The drone and software are designed for practical, user-friendly operation.

You receive a structured introduction to safe drone flights, correct data capture and the Airclip Cloud workflow.

No complex software is required for evaluation, as processing takes place via the Airclip Cloud and you can measure directly in the Airclip Viewer.

Is there a subscription model or ongoing cloud costs?

There is no subscription model.

Prices are charged per project. You only pay when you actually use the cloud-based processing.

As a guide, you can receive a standard 3D model for a ground area of up to 1000 m² for just 25 €.

Was ist DJI Care?

DJI Care ist der Serviceplan von DJI für deine Enterprise-Drohne oder Nutzlast. Er greift bei Schäden, die im Einsatz passieren können: ein Absturz, eine Kollision oder Kontakt mit Wasser. Bei diesem Produkt ist DJI Care bereits enthalten. Du musst also nichts extra abschließen.

Es gibt zwei Varianten:

DJI Care Enterprise Basic: Bei einem Unfallschaden bekommst du ein Ersatzgerät gegen eine reduzierte Servicegebühr. Das geht bis zu zweimal pro Jahr. Kleinere Reparaturen sind nicht kostenlos enthalten.

DJI Care Enterprise Plus: Reparaturen und Ersatz sind ohne Zuzahlung und in unbegrenzter Anzahl möglich, solange die Kosten im Deckungsrahmen deines Geräts bleiben. Bei ausgewählten Modellen sind zusätzlich der Verlust des Fluggeräts (Flyaway) und eine Werkswartung abgedeckt.

Hinweis:
DJI Care schützt dein Gerät, ersetzt aber keine Haftpflichtversicherung für deine Drohne. Die genauen Bedingungen findest du direkt bei DJI.

Welchen Drohnenführerschein brauchst du?

Ob du einen Schein brauchst und welchen, hängt vor allem von der Klasse deiner Drohne ab. Die Klasse erkennst du am Label auf der Drohne, zum Beispiel C1 oder C2. Die Regeln kommen aus der EU-Drohnenverordnung und gelten in allen EU-Ländern gleich.

Es gibt zwei Scheine für die offene Kategorie:

Kleiner Drohnenführerschein (EU-Kompetenznachweis A1/A3): Du machst ihn online beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA). Er ist die Grundlage für alle Drohnen ab Klasse C1.

Großer Drohnenführerschein (EU-Fernpiloten-Zeugnis A2): Er baut auf dem kleinen Schein auf. Mit ihm darfst du C2-Drohnen auch näher an unbeteiligten Personen fliegen.

Hinweis:
Unabhängig vom Schein registrierst du dich beim LBA als Betreiber, sobald deine Drohne eine Kamera hat oder mehr als 250 g wiegt. Eine Haftpflichtversicherung ist in Deutschland für jede Drohne Pflicht. Für ältere Drohnen ohne Klassenlabel gelten eigene Regeln. Dieser Überblick ersetzt keine Rechtsberatung. Alle Details findest du beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.
