Which cameras does the DJI Mavic 3M use for multispectral analyses?

The DJI Mavic 3M combines an RGB camera with a multispectral camera. The multispectral unit consists of four 5 MP cameras for green, red, red edge and near-infrared.

It also features a 20 MP RGB camera with a 4/3 CMOS sensor and mechanical shutter. This combination is designed to capture and analyse plant growth, vegetation health, soil condition and plant health.

Can the DJI Mavic 3M perform automatic flights for mapping projects?

The DJI Mavic 3M comes with the DJI RC Pro remote control. This remote control offers an integrated flight planning function.

This enables automatic flights without additional software or additional costs. This is relevant for planned data acquisition flights in mapping and analysis projects.

What obstacle detection and image transmission does the DJI Mavic 3M offer?

The DJI Mavic 3M features omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. The sensor system uses an omnidirectional binocular vision system and an infrared sensor on the underside.

DJI O3 Image Transmission Industry Edition is specified for image transmission. The maximum effective signal range in unobstructed conditions and without interference is 15 km according to FCC and 8 km according to CE.

Which image and data formats does the DJI Mavic 3M support?

The RGB camera saves images in JPEG or DNG RAW format. The maximum image size of the RGB camera is 5280 × 3956 pixels.

The multispectral camera saves images in TIFF format. NDVI, GNDVI and NDRE are specified for multispectral video content.

Was ist DJI Care?

DJI Care ist der Serviceplan von DJI für deine Enterprise-Drohne oder Nutzlast. Er greift bei Schäden, die im Einsatz passieren können: ein Absturz, eine Kollision oder Kontakt mit Wasser. Bei diesem Produkt ist DJI Care bereits enthalten. Du musst also nichts extra abschließen.

Es gibt zwei Varianten:

DJI Care Enterprise Basic: Bei einem Unfallschaden bekommst du ein Ersatzgerät gegen eine reduzierte Servicegebühr. Das geht bis zu zweimal pro Jahr. Kleinere Reparaturen sind nicht kostenlos enthalten.

DJI Care Enterprise Plus: Reparaturen und Ersatz sind ohne Zuzahlung und in unbegrenzter Anzahl möglich, solange die Kosten im Deckungsrahmen deines Geräts bleiben. Bei ausgewählten Modellen sind zusätzlich der Verlust des Fluggeräts (Flyaway) und eine Werkswartung abgedeckt.

DJI Care schützt dein Gerät, ersetzt aber keine Haftpflichtversicherung für deine Drohne. Die genauen Bedingungen findest du direkt bei DJI.

Welchen Drohnenführerschein brauchst du?

Ob du einen Schein brauchst und welchen, hängt vor allem von der Klasse deiner Drohne ab. Die Klasse erkennst du am Label auf der Drohne, zum Beispiel C1 oder C2. Die Regeln kommen aus der EU-Drohnenverordnung und gelten in allen EU-Ländern gleich.

Es gibt zwei Scheine für die offene Kategorie:

Kleiner Drohnenführerschein (EU-Kompetenznachweis A1/A3): Du machst ihn online beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA). Er ist die Grundlage für alle Drohnen ab Klasse C1.

Großer Drohnenführerschein (EU-Fernpiloten-Zeugnis A2): Er baut auf dem kleinen Schein auf. Mit ihm darfst du C2-Drohnen auch näher an unbeteiligten Personen fliegen.

Hinweis:
Unabhängig vom Schein registrierst du dich beim LBA als Betreiber, sobald deine Drohne eine Kamera hat oder mehr als 250 g wiegt. Eine Haftpflichtversicherung ist in Deutschland für jede Drohne Pflicht. Für ältere Drohnen ohne Klassenlabel gelten eigene Regeln. Dieser Überblick ersetzt keine Rechtsberatung. Alle Details findest du beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.

Viele Profi-Drohnen für Dachaufmaß und Inspektion tragen das C2-Label. Wenn du damit Dächer im Wohngebiet fliegst, brauchst du in der Regel den A2-Schein.

High-quality RGB camera sensor

The drone has a 4/3 CMOS wide-angle camera with 20 MP. This large sensor area delivers sharp images even in low light conditions and represents a significant improvement on previous models.

Long flight time for extended mapping

With a realistic flight time of 35-45 minutes per battery, up to 200 hectares of land can be mapped in a single flight. This makes the DJI Mavic 3M ideal for extensive mapping and surveillance tasks.

RTK navigation for precise surveys

The DJI Mavic 3M is equipped with an RTK module as standard, which enables precise positioning. You can use the drone via mobile phone network or hotspot with NTRIP services. For even more accurate results, the system can be combined with the DJI D-RTK2 Base Station.

Automatic flight planning

The DJI Mavic 3M comes with the DJI RC Pro remote control, which offers an integrated flight planning function. This enables automatic flights without additional software or costs.

Reliable remote control and video transmission

The DJI RC Pro offers a range of up to 8 km and enables stable control of the drone. The video transmission is in full HD 1080p and ensures reliable and clear image data, even at greater distances.

Insurance and trial versions included

The drone comes with 12 months of hull insurance through DJI Care Enterprise Basic. In addition, trial versions of DJI Terra (3 months) and DJI SmartFarm (12 months) are included in the package, which offers additional functions and software options.
