DJI RC Plus/RC Plus 2 – Antenna Extension
With the antenna extension for the DJI RC Plus and RC Plus 2, the antennas can be mounted separately from the remote controller using two 5-meter coaxial cables. This allows you to control the drone from inside an incident vehicle, for example, while positioning the antennas outside in a more suitable location. The pilot can communicate directly with the incident commander, and the vehicle body or other obstacles do not impair the connection.
Increased range with panel directional antennas
The two compact Alfa panel antennas with an antenna gain of 8 dBi focus the signal in the direction of the drone, enabling increased range and a more stable connection. They operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands and cover a wide area with a beamwidth of 90° horizontally and 40° vertically. The antennas can be mounted or attached to almost any surface.
Important note
Use of the antenna extension requires approval from the Bundesnetzagentur, as the radiated transmission power is increased.
