The practical course in presence to fly in all currently possible standard scenarios! The STS practical certificate can be used for the STS-01 and STS-02. After intensive flight preparation and lots of practical flight training, the STS practical exam is taken after the final questions. In small groups of participants, individual questions can be addressed and everyone is given the best opportunity to carry out the applications in practice.
Airclip is officially recognised by the Federal Aviation Office as a test centre for the STS practical certificate.
What do I get after the training?
You are the holder of the STS practical certificate for the two currently published standard scenarios STS-01 and STS-02, which is valid throughout Europe according to the law.

Training content
The practical day includes detailed flight preparation and evaluation of the safety areas. The knowledge gained is then immediately put into practice with our rental drones. The basic knowledge of the standard scenarios STS-01 and STS-02 is repeated and then applied. Flight training for use in urban areas as well as beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) is carried out together.
The day concludes with the examination for the STS practical certificate. It is important that you are already familiar with the theoretical basics, as the content of the STS theory test.
General:
Coffee, water, juices, lunch and snacks will be provided (vegetarians and vegans please give a short note)
Airclip is an examination centre DE.PStF.006 designated by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) and a recognised examination centre for STS practice
Sample checklists and other documents are available for download free of charge
In the event of failure, a re-examination at the same location is possible free of charge
In order to be authorised to fly within the standard scenarios, an operating concept and an STS theory test are also required.
Participation requirements
You must have passed the STS theory test . You can take this at one of our 16 locations throughout Germany as part of the A2/STS complete training course (2 days).
You must be at least 16 years old. Note: For minors under the age of 18, please have a document of consent from your legal guardian (usually your parents) ready.
You will need a valid identity document (identity card or passport).
