FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Was bringt mir das STS Upgrade?

STS-02 ermöglicht BVLOS-Flüge in unbesiedeltem Gebiet, z.

Was beinhaltet die Online-Vorbereitung?

Information about the exam:

The STS theory exam, including the A2 license, is a prerequisite for approvals and for operating Class C2, C5, and C6 drones.
The learning content on our platform must be thoroughly reviewed before the training-this is essential for a successful exam.
If a retake is necessary, a re-examination can be taken during our group training dates. The fee is EUR 140 net.
Please bring a valid ID document and proof of passing the A1/A3 online exam. Minors require the consent of their legal representative.
The LBA charges a fee of EUR 45 for issuing the A2/STS remote pilot certificate.
In order to be allowed to fly in standardized drone scenarios, an operational concept is required in addition to the STS theory and practical exams.
