The point clouds can be aligned automatically via ICP or manually using control points. This allows different data sets to be combined efficiently without external software. Aligning point clouds from different sources is now easy, time-saving, and precise.
X-ray view for CAD drawings in point clouds
With the X-ray view function, the 3Dsurvey Scan module offers a completely new way of working for architects and planners. The transparent display of the point cloud allows you to draw floor plans or sections directly in the 3D view – without having to use external CAD tools. 3Dsurvey is Windows-based software for processing image data, especially from drone flights. The software uses the processor (CPU) for calculations and the graphics card (GPU) for graphical display. The system requirements vary depending on the project size and processing requirements
The requirements are divided into three usage categories below: minimum requirements, recommended configuration, and professional use with large data sets
Minimum requirements
- Operating system: Windows 7, 8, or 10 (64-bit)
- Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5 or i7
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics card (GPU): Nvidia GTX 760 or comparable
- Hard disk space: SSD with at least 128 GB + HDD with at least 500 GB
Recommended system configuration
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Processor (CPU): Intel Core i7, e.g. Intel Core i7- 6700HQ
- RAM: 16 to 32 GB
- Graphics card (GPU): Nvidia GTX 960 or better
- Hard disk space: SSD with at least 256 GB + HDD with at least 1 TB
Professional use (large projects)
