What tasks can drones already perform today?

The areas of application are very diverse. Drones can be used purely for image and video recordings of buildings, industrial facilities and areas, for as-built surveys or condition surveys. In the trades, drones are also often used by roofers and construction companies for surveying. Whether it's 3D map material, area calculations or determining the volume of earth excavations, these tasks can be carried out quickly and cheaply from the air. Of course, the use in media production must also be mentioned.

Thermal imaging cameras can also be used, for example to detect fawns or damage to solar fields. Near infrared makes it possible to document the lack of water in plants from the air. Industrial companies are also already using fine dust and gas analysis systems on drones. At research institutes, drones are used to transport various measuring devices into the air, as this allows measured values to be recorded that would not be accessible without drones.

We will be happy to advise you if you have a special field of application or a sensor system that needs to be made operational on your or our drone.
