In uncontrolled airspace (airspace class G), unless restricted by other prohibitions, it is generally permitted to fly up to 120 metres above ground level. Exceptions to this are individual permits or operating licences that allow altitudes above 120 m. In control zones, i.e. around airports, the flight altitude may not exceed 50 m without authorisation.
