What does GSD mean for drones?
GSD is the abbreviation for Ground Sampling Distance, which means ground resolution. The typical unit is centimetres per pixel (cm / px). The GSD therefore indicates how large the distance on the ground is that is covered by a pixel. The accuracy of a drone survey can never be better than the GSD.Discover more
