What is a prosumer drone?
Prosumer drones are drones that were originally developed for private use ("sumer" for consumer) but are also used for commercial purposes ("pro" for professional) due to a lack of alternatives. Classic prosumer drones are the DJI Phantom 4 and Mavic 2.
Over time, however, prosumer drones have been replaced by commercial sister models that offer special functions for everyday commercial use. Among other things, additional safety systems and better sensors are installed to meet the requirements of professional users.
