What is the AIS portal and where can I find it?

Pilots of aeroplanes and helicopters use printed ICAO charts to plan their routes. However, these do not include any time-limited or short-term flight restriction areas (ED-R). The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) is responsible for providing information on flight planning. The portal is operated by DFS (German Air Traffic Control) and provides information in the form of NOTAMs (notice to airmen).

To view further information on no-fly zones and geo-zones to which certain rules apply, DFS offers the Dipul portal.
