What is the difference between RTK Fix, Float and Single?

An RTK Fix indicates that your drone has determined a centimetre-accurate position. RTK Float is displayed if a centimetre-accurate position cannot (yet) be determined. In the case of RTK Single, only the normal GNSS signal is currently available - without any correction.

RTK Fix and RTK Float are the results of the RTK algorithm, which determines the position of the drone by calculating GNSS data and RTK data. The decisive factors for an RTK fix are a sufficient number of visible satellites at the drone and ground station, a stable data connection and a maximum distance of 15 km between the two. The distribution of the satellites in the sky also plays a role. 13 to 15 satellites evenly distributed across the sky are usually sufficient for a stable RTK fix.
