What should I do in the event of an accident?
Inform your insurer of the owner's liability insurance, which you should have taken out as a responsible drone pilot. If people are injured or damage is caused during a crash, this must also be reported to the owner/operator and the police. It is advisable to document not only such incidents, but all flights in a flight log. This gives you the security of being able to remember circumstances such as day, weather, mission and incidents in retrospect. And it helps as proof in the event of a subsequent claim.
